Couples in Conflict Cause Sleep Deprivation
According to a Study completed by the University of Arizona, if you have a significant other and get along, that should help you sleep better.
On a day to day basis, a couple's relationship affects how well they sleep, the study says.
Women are more affected by a negative encounter with their partner. Men rest more peacefully when they consider their relationship positive.
The bottom line is to not take your conflicts to bed. Settle them during the day. Lighten up a bit. Another study published by the American Journal of Epidemiology showed blacks sleep less than whites, men less than women, and poor less than the wealthy.
The study suggests that average sleep times have diminished since 1900. Back then, people reported sleeping an average of nine hours a night.
Today the average time is bed is 7.5 hours but with less time spent actually asleep. Woman clocked in the highest sleep time at an average of 6.7 hours a night.
